Profile - Daniel Kamau


Daniel KamauDaniel completed his degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Cape Town in 2005. After graduation, he took up employment with TTT Africa in Johannesburg, where he has been involved in an array of transportation and traffic engineering projects. His main areas of experience to date have been Traffic Impact Studies, Road Closure Applications, Traffic Signal Timing Design, Parking Layout Design and development of Road Masterplans. 

In 2007 Daniel enrolled for the honours programme in Transportation Engineering at the University of Pretoria, which he will complete in 2008. His postgraduate studies include subjects on Transport Modelling, Transportation Planning, Traffic Safety and Geometric Design.  Daniel also won the South African Transport Conference (SATC) Student Essay Competition with his Paper: Sustainable transport and congestion: The case of Cedar Road, Fourways.
